A stunning brooch featuring Ida B Wells, the African-American Journalist and Activist who shone a light on the truth of the barbaric acts of lynching in the United States which occurred most frequently between 1890 and the 1920s. She also campaigned for women's rights and fought for women's suffrage. This lovely bronze kilt pin is a fitting tribute to this brave woman. The pin carries a fabulous image of Ida, her quotation "The way to right wrongs is to turn the light of truth upon them", black faceted crystal beads, the female Venus symbol charm and a silky silver grey bow (or you can choose another colour - just mention it when you order). The pin is approx 5cms across. All handmade by us!
Everything is handmade to order therefore please allow up to 7 business days for completion of your very own piece.
We also do custom pieces to order, so if you are wanting something else, made with a different theme in mind just get in touch and we can make a piece up to your specifications :-) email: [email protected]
