Frederick Douglass "Nation" Quotation Necklace

Frederick Douglass was an African-American who was born a slave in Talbot County, Maryland, USA around 1818 and escaped at the age of 20 and went on to become a social reformer, abolitionist, orator, writer, and statesman. This is a silverplated necklace with a round pendant featuring one of Frederick Douglass' quotes (approx 25mm across) covered with a glass dome "The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress".

Everything is handmade to order therefore please allow up to 7 business days for completion of your very own piece. We make our pendant chains around 24inches but if you would prefer a different length, please get in touch, or leave a note on your order.

We send parcels to countries outside the UK by Airmail post.   We send our parcels within the UK by 1st Class post.  Please note that this is not a tracked service.

If you do require tracking, this is an extra GBP £6.00 UK (£6.50 overseas) which you can select at checkout. We do obtain a Proof of Posting Certificate for every item posted.

Please remember that deliveries outside the UK are in most cases received in about a week but occasionally they do take longer. Sometimes they get 'stuck' in your country's Customs but thankfully this does not happen often. If it does though, please be a little patient and be prepared to give it a few weeks.
